Greetings Sorors,

I am extremely proud and elated that so many of our sorors, family members and friends desired to make a difference in the lives of young people through their continued participation and support of the Business Month Program (Observing I Banquet). Alpha Kappa you rolled out the “Green Carpet” of excellence and showed the utmost in hospitality as we celebrated the distinguished men and women of the Houston area. Our scholarship recipient, Zachary Sowell was extremely honored to be recognized by such a prestigious organization. His parents stated that everyone was so kind and professional. He quoted “It was a night to remember.” Alpha Kappa you should feel proud every time you present a scholarship.

 

Several claps for the Business Month chair and committee members for your untiring efforts….  work and countless hours to ensure Alpha Kappa’s annual event is in keeping with our national goals and objectives.

 

 

Soror Linda Raye Taylor, I thank you for the lovely tribute to me that the FIL Raven sung “I Believe I Can Fly.” I was totally surprised and it was touching. Sorors, you have worked with energy, expertise and enthusiasm in your support throughout the month of April and in helping to culminate the month in making AK…in the Green Lane great and successful. With much love and respect, it is my pleasure to serve as your Chapter President. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to serve.
